Unlike some hospitals, St. Mary's serves pediatric patients in a unit that is entirely dedicated to children, with bright, colorful décor and specialized experts who love working with kids. Upon arrival, patients receive a special hand-made quilt or blanket from Project Linus for comfort in the hospital as well as for a positive memory of the warmth they experienced at St. Mary's. We know that comfort is important to both patient and family. In situations like these, comfort often is found in being together. Every patient room features a pull-out bed to accommodate an overnight guest.

In addition, our experienced nursing staff understands the many emotions that go along with the reality of a sick child, and they are here to help patients and families work through their stress and heal.
